Highlights, formerly known as Orthodontics, is a cover band for easy listening 80’s music created with our friend and fellow artist, Doug Johnston. Orthodontics started back in 2006 as a way to do performances in dentist waiting rooms of the music usually heard ambient in those rooms. We bring this ‘elevator’ music to life through a combination of live instrumentation and karaoke. Our genuine appreciation for Lionel Ritchie, Richard Marks, Patrick Swayze, Prince and Wham! (to name a few) led us to widen the breadth of the songs to include more upbeat and louder songs… and so became Highlights. Performances often include audience sing-a-longs and swaying to the music.
