A MOUNTAIN SOARS OVER THE OCEAN
2010

This is a sculpture-play about the search for home and friendship. It is at once an homage and a folkish tale about the inevitable difficulties we face in nature and in ourselves as we travel through life. This is a play in four acts and four songs. The story is told through rudimentary puppetry and the transformation of the sculpture-set, alongside songs written by our band, The Hawk is a Lonely Hunter.

This project was made possible with a space grant on Governors Island, NY through the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.
