Our collaboration started with music in 2006 when we formed a band called “Your Face is as Sweet as a Glazed, Chocolate, Sprinkly, Honey-dipped Sugary Donut,” we wrote only love songs. Some of the subject matter included bugs making love, professions of love in French, and odes to donuts.

We also have an 80’s cover band with Doug Johnston, called Highlights, formerly known as Orthodontics. In 2009, we renamed ourselves, The Hawk is a Lonely Hunter and began actively writing music hand-in-hand with our Friendly Falcons visual works.
